About the Vocational Training Initiative
The Vocational Training initiative, undertaken by the Koch Rajbongshi Development Council (KRDC), aims to provide quality, structured, and exam-oriented coaching for APSC Prelims and other Government Examinations to approximately 700 selected youths belonging to the Koch Rajbongshi community of Assam.
Designed as a three-month intensive vocational training programme, the initiative seeks to ensure that meritorious and deserving aspirants from the Koch Rajbongshi community gain access to quality competitive examination preparation at the district level. The programme focuses on strengthening academic fundamentals, conceptual clarity, and examination readiness, thereby enabling aspirants to compete effectively in government recruitment examinations.
The vocational training programme will be implemented across seven selected districts of Assam — Dhubri, Bongaigaon, Boko, Mangaldoi, Guwahati, Sivasagar, and Lakhimpur — ensuring wider geographical outreach and inclusivity. Classes will be conducted in well-equipped learning environments, supported by experienced faculty members, creating a learner-centric and outcome-driven academic ecosystem.
Through this initiative, the Koch Rajbongshi Development Council (KRDC) aims to empower youths of the Koch Rajbongshi community, promote equitable access to quality education, and contribute meaningfully to capacity building and employment generation in Assam.
